_Our story_

We are the Dr. Sam Motsuenyane Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering rural and township communities in South Africa. Our focus lies in addressing the challenges faced by these areas, especially within the agricultural sector. Through skills development and enterprise initiatives, we work to help communities own the means of production. We also manage flagship agricultural projects in Gauteng, North-West, and Mpumalanga provinces, emphasizing grain, vegetable, and citrus production.

Our vision is to economically empower communities, and we are guided by the values of selflessness, accountability, and integrity. We support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs) with scholarships and entrepreneurial grants while promoting servant leadership to drive economic growth in rural and township economies.

Gog Lily Initiative

The Dr. Sam Motsuenyane Foundation has been actively involved in supporting various projects, with one of its flagship initiatives being the assistance provided to Gog Lilly, initially known as Bontle Le Temo. The foundation has played a crucial role in nurturing and developing this project from its inception.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Sam Motsuenyane, a revered leader and pioneer in our community. Dr. Motsuenyane departed from us on Monday, April 29th, 2024, after a valiant and prolonged battle with illness, leaving behind a legacy that will forever shape the landscape of our nation.
